It is ideal for high-precision scanning, industrial measurements and quality control. Note: MetroX uses a Class 2M laser projector. Avoid looking directly at the light source closely!
4 Efficient Scan Modes – Easily manage different types of objects and surfaces with MetroX’s Cross Line and Parallel Line modes, which allow detailed scan of difficult surfaces. Full-field mode offers fast capture rates of up to 7 million points per second, while Automatic Turntable mode allows for fully automated metrology-quality scanning.
Efficient Scanning of Dark or Reflective Surfaces: Pass the spray step for dark or reflective surfaces with MetroX’s 14 GPU-accelerated blue crossed laser lines* with speeds of up to 60 fps. This makes scanning mechanical parts or molds a breeze. *Check GPU compatibility.
One-Click Scans with Automatic Turntable Mode – Equipped with a tripod for stable positioning, MetroX’s dual-axis automatic turntable mode fully automates 3D scanning. It captures metrology-grade point clouds and colors, allowing for accurate 3D reconstruction. This desktop automation solution is perfect for quick quality inspections, product design and creating accurate colorful templates.
Three Tracking Modes – Feature tracking is for objects with detail-rich surfaces, while marker tracking ensures accurate scans for smooth surfaces. Global Markers mode provides better volumetric accuracy for complex objects. These three modes allow you to capture any object optimally for professional applications such as industrial inspection and creative design.
Precision Calibration Cards for Reliable Accuracy – The included lithographic calibration card ensures reliable accuracy for every scan. It works with Revo Scan 5 MetroX software for fast calibrations and accuracy checks.
Free Professional Software – Revo Scan 5 MetroX software offers advanced tools for scan, merge, mesh, editing, import and export. Its many file formats (PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, 3MF, GLTF, FBX) allow easy export to third-party tools like Quicksurface and Geomagic Wrap, simplifying CAD workflows.Note: Revo Scan 5 MetroX software is only compatible with x86_64 architecture.
